The 2 Person Shared Table section is not a private table. You will be seated with other guests from a separate party at the same table.

Seating is Now Done by the Date and Time of the Ticket Purchase/Reservation. You will be Assigned Tables by Purchase Date.

Son, Brother, Friend, Comedian are a few words to describe the man with the infectious smile we know as Comedian Kier Spates. However, what has been left out is Survivor; Warrior, Humble and one aspiring to greatness! These are few of many words to describe the spirit of this Sickle Cell CHAMPION. Kier Spates, living life with Sickle Cell Disease!

Daytime Emmy nominated for his Outstanding Writing Skills, Kier Spates, a native of Houston Texas, has to be one of the funniest comics you will ever encounter. He has traveled the globe with such greats as the Queen of Soul, the late Aretha Franklin, Lyfe Jennings, Music soul Child, Frankie Beverly and Maze, the late Gerald Levert, Anita Baker and Anthony Hamilton. In 2005, he toured as one of the primary acts on the “Rickey Smiley and Friends Show”. In addition to all of this named above, he has also done military tours; the USO Tours to Japan and Bahrain. Kier has also managed to dominate the stage on the college scenes as well. His standup has been embraced on the campuses of University of Southern LA, Texas A&M, University of Houston, University of North Texas and Texas Southern University. The list just goes on and on. These performances have commanded accolades on the “Improv” circuit all over the United States.
Kier Spates has also had many on screen television appearances, as well. BET’s “Comic View” and “Getting Paid” are just a couple that received rave reviews. We must not forget “Dre” in Barbershop Blues with New Edition’s – Ralph Tresvant. He has traveled with many hit stage plays as well. One of his most notable accounts was “Confessions” starring the late Gerald Levert, Kelly Price and Tommy Ford. Steve Harvey has now made Kier Spates a regular member of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, He delivers daily funny tips as Junior at 7:48AM EST, Monday through Thursday on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Junior is also the spokesperson for the popular dating site Finally, you can catch Junior as the opening act on Steve Harvey’s Grand Finale Comedy Tour. Critics everywhere have responded by calling Junior “THE NEXT BIG THING IN STAND-UP COMEDY”.

Kier knew at a very young age that he enjoyed making other’s laugh. It was at the age of fourteen he realized this is something he could do for the rest of his life. Kier was influenced by some great comedians such as Redd Foxx, Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. He did not know his destination was comedy, but he got better and better at the art of laugher and kept those around him in stitches. He was the resident funny guy and entertainer for friends and family. He enjoyed making people happy as he felt at times because of his sickness he caused others sadness. He loved to imitate Michael Jackson at family functions. During class school his science teacher would allow him to do eight minutes of stand-up at the end of the day if everyone performed well on their test. He was moving into his purpose unknowingly!
Kier founded Kier’s Hope Foundation Incorporated to not only inspire and educate families affected by sickle cell disease by his example, but by providing education, programs, and services, and funding resources. You are not alone in this fight. Kier’s Hope is here for your support. We are all bound by blood. Together we are “Working to Change the Shape of Sickle Cell Disease.” A few of his accomplishments with his foundation are the First Saturday in June is Kier’s Hope Day in Dallas and State of Texas Senate Resolution Number 187 in 2019 – Kier’s Hope Sickle Cell Awareness Month.

Kier Spates is truly a force to be reckoned with. His motto to date is unforgettable. So, when you think of this up and coming, stand up comedic great, please remember his belief that laughter doeth the heart good like medicine. And in the words of Kier himself:
